Appearance: Soft and uniform slightly toasted brown color with caramel edges provided by panela.
Aroma: The grape smell of the brandy is easily appreciated with traces of cocoa from the coffee beans.
Taste: Mainly bitter from the coffee, but with certain hints of cocoa and a caramel aftertaste due to the particular flavor of panela. Unlike most of this type of liquor that is usually very sugary; it does not dry out the mouth or produce a sensation of thirst once drunk.
Optimum consumption temperature: Oxygenate and serve at room temperature in a glass in the shape of a tulip or balloon for a correct tasting. For beginners in the world of liquor, consume between 3 and 8ºC for a milder flavor.
